I was searching for job notifications released by APPSC(Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission). Even in APPSC website there was file not found error. But the people who have developed the site have no basic common sense. If the file has not been uploaded yet then a message need to be displayed. The file has not been uploaded yet. Unwanted text in TCS career website(Error)

I was searching manual testing jobs in LinkedIn website. Suddenly I was there was an urgent opening in TCS pune. I have clicked on that link, it has directed me to Monster site. In monster site there were two buttons given along with entire description of the job. The two buttons were "Registered User" and "New User". I have clicked on "Registered User" button, application has directed me to TCS career site. There I found a minor issue of unwanted text.
Even I am attaching the screen shot where I found the error.

Error in Religare Racepro 999 Trading Account

I have tried to login into my race pro 999 trading account. But every time, it is showing error message as server not responding. Religare should take care of this type of errors. Every time one or the other issues popups from their trading software. Customers get irritated by seeing these type of issues in frequent usage of their software.

Today the Religare IT department guy gave a call to me. He said me that he will access system and resolve the issue. I said okay you access my team my system. He has taken my system access using team viewer software and resolved the issue by again reinstalling the software.

Route Cause Analysis

I was working on my PC and suddenly my PC was stopped working. Monitor's light was blinking. But CPU was not working. I have rechecked all the outside power connections and tried to restart, but still my CPU was not working. Then I have opened my CPU and checked all the inner connections. Even inner connections were also good. I have checked all the data cables and one data cable was broken. The data cable which connects Hard Disk with mother board was broken. Later on I have replaced the broken data cable with a new one and my PC was working perfectly. This is similar to route cause analysis. In route cause analysis we will analyze all the problems and find the route cause of the problem. So that the process works better.

I have used IE7 browser to log into Google plus. Application has directed me to page https://plus.google.com/not-supported/?ref=/. In this page when I click on learn more, it is showing page not available.

My experiences while testing Arabian Nights website

www.arabiannightsstore.com is an online web portal which is built using Presta Shop. The website is a product related website. Main products of arabian nights store are Hookhas, Perfumes, Spa and Perfumes.

While testing I was worried about one issue i.e., the currency displayed on website should be Indian Currency, but after going to pay pal the currency should be converted to dollars. But the problem is session is remaining and due to that total website currency is getting converted into dollars after clicking on checkout. How ever we have solved this issue.


Another issue was related to image uploading. I have uploaded all the products using csv file. When I uploaded products using csv in staging site, it was working perfectly. But when I was trying to upload it in live server, images were not uploading. The problem was our hosting department created the account keeping PHP in safe mode. After disabling the PHP in safe mode, the images were perfectly uploading to the live site.

This was my experience while testing Arabian Nights website. I request all the testing platform people to share their knowledge on what ever experiences they have faced. Only by sharing knowledge will improve.

Site Builder CMS

In one of our project which was built using Site Builder CMS. Client gave the requirement of editing both right column and left column. We faced lot of problems while making both right and left column editable.
At last how ever one of our integrator and me working together have solved the problem.
 The pressure was enormous for solving the problem. Actually the site was live and delivered to client. Client was coming hard at us and was totally disappointed.
But at last we had satisfied the client and expecting more work from him. Experience and hard work teaches many new things.
